realised that i haven't blogged for a bit... been real busy with like my asian studies assignment. yes! it's just one assignment man.. but the article that we are made to read... altho an interesting one... is quite pointless.. i mean we are supposed to find the central argument of the article but there is no centre.. there is left and there is right.. but no centre! (okie paiseh.. just me being lame...) anyways i find that the article was written in a very informal way... but it was written such a long time ago... maybe at that time, the journalistic techniques weren't as developed as now.. hmmmm...

well the class guys are back in school already... after 2.5 yrs (minus the 1 or 2 months that they cut after reducing ns to 2 yrs) of not studying and not using their brains... think it wld be a relatively trying period for them to get back into the whole swing of things man. but i'm sure that they will settle in soon.. given that they are such a smart bunch!! good luck to u guys in ur new school yr yah....

oh yah... as the title says.. my weird jap teacher... well, this sensei of mine... i dunno what to say sia... i mean like she's cute and funny in her expressions... but she's also very sacarstic at the same time sia... and it has been proven countless of times that she likes the guys in our jap cohort. i mean like she pays particular attn to them, esp to simon.. hahahaha she is like super in love with simon. plus the fact that simon is quite well versed in jap and has been to japan for a bit.. so i guess even tho she nags at him for not attending class and all.. she still gives him the mark. i hardly think she likes the girls much.. with the exception of my good fren joyce cos she's a SQUARE and like a few of the more dilligent pple. she keeps thinking the other sg girls and me don't do our homework even tho we are like showing blatantly that we already did it.. she says we are not square enough.... hahahah so werid... i mean like can't she just say that we aren't nerds... why use a shape??? hahahah square... hahahahah!!! i just find it very funny that she keeps harping on like being square and all.. what if we wanted to be circles and triangles??

ah wells... the weirdness of japanese (not a racist or in someone else's words.. racialist statement here) but it's like some that most of us agree that the japs are a little weird... actually that's not the right word.. more like unique. well i guess unless we are japanese or are at least assimilated into their culture, we won't understand this so called japanese uniqueness.... and to us.. they will continue to be seen as weird. yah?! on one hand, they are asians... like the rest of us... but on the other hand, they are so unique that they seem almost as foreign as ang mohs are to use.. perhaps this is why the japanese are known as 'white' asians. (learnt that in asian studies and applying it!!)
